Biography
Pooja Vaidyanath nee A.V. Jayalakshmi (b. 15 February 1988 - aka A.V.Pooja and Pooja AV), is an Indian singer and one of the finalists of reality singing competition, Airtel Super Singer (Season 3, 2011). This provided her the opportunity to sing for music directors, including: A.R. Rahman, G.V. Prakash Kumar, D. Imman, James Vasanthan, Phani Kalyan and Selva Ganesh.
Recordings with Rahman include Tum Tak from Raanjhanaa (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) (11 Jun 2013, Eros / Sony) and Kanaave Kanaave from Ambikapathy (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) (17 Jun 2013).
