The lead single from PinkPantheress' second mixtape “Fancy That”, “Tonight,” is a synth-powered dance pop track where we see the singer in a more mature light, ready to get it on with her loved one, coupled with sampled orchestral arrangements from Panic! At The Disco’s 2008 song “Do You Know What I’m Seeing?”
Speaking about the single, PinkPantheress has stated in a press release:
I’m so excited to finally bring out the first single of my new project. I hope everyone has as much fun listening to it as I do.
The single was first teased in a TikTok video posted on the singer’s throwaway account and, a few hours later, she posted a longer snippet on her main account, announcing that the track would be released the following week. The Bridgerton-inspired music video, directed by Charlotte Rutherford, was released alongside the song on April 4, 2025.
