Phantom, Rocker & Slick was a short-lived project that joined two former Stray Cats with longtime hired-gun guitarist Earl Slick. With the Stray Cats' career in decline and personal tensions on the rise, Brian Setzer chose to disband the Cats in late 1984. Bass player Lee Rocker and drummer Slim Jim Phantom united with Slick and blended the rockabilly stylings of the Stray Cats with a bit of Slick's glam rock muscle, releasing a self-titled debut album in late 1985.
