Pfaff is mainly the alter-ego of Bas Jacobs from Amsterdam. Before becoming Pfaff, he was known as the bass player from the succesfull Dutch band Seedling. He has always made poetry and started making music with Pfaff (back then they were trio) while Seedling still excisted.
After two Pfaff-bandmembers quit, Bas (vocals, guitar & drums) decided to go on like a duo with Alice Bron (guitar, keyboards, kazoo, percussion & some vocals). Together they make lo-fi rockmusic, always surprising and with a good sense of humour. They're often compared to bands like The Pixies, Pavement and The Fall.
