I don't get all of the Phil Collins haters who claim that he was a "mainstream" songwriter, while Gabriel wasn't. This album is proof that Gabriel was very much in touch with the mainstream, he just had a little more avant-garde and less direct way of approaching it. Kind of similar to the Beatles solo careers - Paul and Ringo had a more poppy approach, while John and George were a little more artistic. All four were "mainstream", they just had different approaches. So stop all of the Phil bashing, and just give respect where it is due to both of these great songwriters and performers.

Well, people just see Against all Odds and his Disney works and come to that Curry's paradox. When are we going to learn to like two different artists for their specific style?
