Biography

Paul Harrington has played the harmonica for over forty years. His professional studio career started in Phoenix, Arizona, and he has since done recording sessions for many accomplished producers. Among these producers are Grammy Award Winners Phil York (Willie Nelson), Robin "Hood" Bryans (ZZ Top) and John McEuen (Will the Circle Be Unbroken, The Dirt Band).

Paul's recording credits include two albums for John McEuen, two albums for Texas' singer-songwriting great Rusty Wier, two NBC Steve Martin Specials and an Austin City Limits 20th Anniversary Broadcast for Gary P. Nunn.

His performance credits include playing with such diverse artists as Martin Mull, Smokin' Joe Kubek, R.L. Griffin, Kenney Davis, Rusty Wier, Rodney Johnson, Gary Stewart, Ronnie Wiess, Roy Clarke, Will 'Smokey' Logg, Jimmie Ibbotson, John McEuen, Dave Stanley, Ken 'Nardo' Murray, Larry Stanley, John Denver, Tyrone Starks, Chuck Rainey and Homer Henderson.

Paul has taught the harmonica for over 25 years and is a member of the Hohner Harmonica endorsement program.
