Biography
Former drummer for The John Wilkes Kissing Booth, and All Black Cinema; Jory Walker approached writing solo piano/drum material to set in motion a new journey of self expression. Never feeling complete with his material, he joined with Hex Formes frontman Josh Crabtree early 2019… blending hints of Mogwai, The Cure, Beach House, old New Order, and other sad, romantic, and hopeful elements.
Jory Walker & Josh Crabtree both grew up in Abilene, TX. They both met in high-school in the early stages of the band Mute. The band split after a few years, and band mates went their separate ways.
Jory Walker continued to write music with Micah P. Hinson while also working with the band Neon Christ. After some legal issues/stupid decisions music took a halt for a couple of years.
Jory Walker then moved to California after auditioning for the band The John Wilkes Kissing Booth. Jory continued a few years working with JWKB and All Black Cinema. The bands split up and Jory returned to Dallas, TX where he continues with the Pattern Faults and Hex Formes projects.
