Born out of the need for true Old School Punk in the current music scene,Patchy Dense Fog was formed in 2009 with one goal.Bring Back the Punk Attitude of the mid 70's with a twist of metal injected.Vocalist,Guitarist Doug Robinson and Bassist Derrick Thomas grew up in the Metal Movement of the 80's and early 90's playing in a variety of metal and speed metal bands.When Robinson started writing what would become the bands first CD "I Don't Need Ya", he knew the content of the CD required more of a Punk Attitude than metal, but was not about to give up the crunchy, metal guitar tones that run through his veins.He also knew there was only one bass player who could see things in the same light.Enter Derrick,the only thing missing was a drummer.Enter Daniel Sauls, while talking with Daniel, Doug quickly realized the search was over.Written,Recorded, and released within a 2 month period in mid 2009,"I Don't Need Ya" is full of what makes Punk Music a true art form .With song's about the Woes of society,drugs,war,pollution,greed you name it, if it pisses you off,chances are there's a song on the CD about it.With growling guitars,animated vocals,thunderous bass, and drums that slap you in the face. 'I Don't Need Ya' truely is Old School Punk,For a New Age.
