“Sex as a Weapon” is the first track and second single from Pat Benatar’s album Seven the Hard Way. The song was written bycBilly Steinberg & Tom Kelly. It was also produce by Pat’s longtime music partner Neil Giraldo.
It went to #28 on the US Billboard charts and #67 in the UK.
During an MTV interview Pat said the whole purpose of the song was to call out advertisers who use sex to sale things.
