Biography
Paranous (pronounced para-noose) meaning beside the mind in New Latin, from Greek. Based out of Phoenix, Arizona, Paranous has a heavy, yet melodic rock sound with inviting guitar hooks and intricate bass riffs. Intense drum beats and powerful melodic vocals complete their unique sound that drives you. Founded by bassist Dominick Jarnagin, Paranous was joined by drummer Ross Martinez, creating a tight, solid rhythm section. After several variations of the band, brother and sister Tai and Yael Lanciano completed the final line-up. Paranous delivers a contagious and energetic live performance, showcased in their debut album “Beside the Mind.” This alluring band is an act you don’t want to miss.
