P-Pressure At only 20 years old, he has already made a name for himself in New
York City, and is ready to break out to the rest of the country. Born in his native Nigeria, on Jan. 20th, 1989, Peter Anthony always had a love for music. With influences such as Big L, Big
Pun, Slick Rick and 2 Pac; P-Pressure had a tremendous understanding of American Hip Hop by the time he moved to New York, at the age of seven. By the time he was 14, P-Pressure was already writing his own lyrics, as he discovered he enjoyed creating music, as much as listening to it. P-
Pressure knew he had talent, and now, out of high school and doing his life passion, his main goals are creating music to entertain his fans, and lyrical supremacy. P-Pressure is certainly on his way to those aspirations. He draws inspiration from day to day life; from his days in Nigeria, as well as his
life in New York City. As he explains, “life is life, no matter where you live.” With singles such as “Swerve,” “Move Fast,” and “Supreme,” it is clear that even at a young age, P-
Pressure can write lyrics that are personal, entertaining and soulful. Matching his lyrics with crazy beats creates a combination that is sure to impress any Hip-Hop fan. P-Pressure performed at the “First Annual Rapathon,” at the Magic Johnson Theater, in May, 2007. This event, a 24-hour
showcase of continuous rhymes, featured over 100 of New York’s up and coming Hip-Hop talents.
