Although early P-Model is usually classified by the term "Techno-pop," really the hard sound lends itself to the term "Techno-punk." Under synth and rhythm-box is the relentless cry of the electric guitar.
A style, unacknowledged in the rock idiom prevailing in Japan of that time, suddenly sprung up announcing the arrival of a new era. Issues such as urban problems and the role of the media, are all addressed from the stance of "Communication Theory" as espoused by P-Model.
