“Perfect” is a song about living for today and loving without commitment. The second single from One Direction’s fifth studio album, Made In The A.M., “Perfect” premiered on Apple Music on October 16, 2015.
Written primarily by Harry Styles, the song may be a response to his former fling, Taylor Swift.
When asked directly if the song is about Taylor Swift, Louis Tomlinson, who also co-wrote the track, dodged the question, stating that it’s “up to interpretation.”
