Oliver Castillo, founding bassist of the band Dmente Comun, bassist of Charlie Parra del Riego, and other musical projects, with more than 25 years of musical experience, publishes his first solo album as the result of a 5-year process of instrumental experimentation.

In addition, this album brings the particularity of including the collaboration of 12 musicians, members of some of the most representative bands and solo projects of the Peruvian music scene such as: Alec Marambio, Charlie Parra Del Riego, Tavo Castillo, Hazael Abraham, Faridde Cappado, among others.

Laboratorio V01 is an album where Oliver captures different influences and experiences acquired in these 25 years, which are enhanced by the collaboration process with each guest, giving each song a unique touch.

“Everything was born in 2015, reviewing a hard disk where there were unfinished compositions, I chose 3 songs and sent them to Ricardo, Walter and Charlie, without changing anything. The result of the first topics made me understand that in the collaboration I had found a space that I really enjoyed, the process, the learning and the result. "

This album has the participation of Corpz in the illustration and layout of the cover, he is a renowned artist who has made covers for a great variety of bands and musical genres such as Dmente Comun, Theremyn_4, La Forma, Carpinteros, Psycho (Boston), Squirt of Rage (France), among others; as well as designs for very important international brands such as Leap Frog, Clipper, Adidas, Votorantim, Mitsubishi, Subaru and many more.
