It was released in 2000 as the first single from the fourth studio album Standing on the Shoulder of Giants. The song peaked at #1 in the UK charts where it went Silver. "Go Let It Out" is included on Oasis' compilation album Stop the Clocks, and is the only song from Standing on the Shoulder of Giants on that album.

Oasis is an English alternative rock band formed in Manchester in 1991. Originally known as the Rain, the group initially consisted of Liam Gallagher (lead vocals, tambourine), Paul Arthurs (guitar), Paul McGuigan (bass guitar) and Tony McCarroll (drums).
