Biography

OCOT is a musical project from Japanese producer Sha-A. Glittering melodies, enfolding harmonies, OCOT’s sounds have energies that evoke your memory of the old eden where we were in the past. Sha-A also acts as an another alias “TRI-Force”, that is centered on aggressive and psychedelic tracks. On the other hand, OCOT focuses the middle range style and it is a hybrid architecture combining various styles such as psychedelic, progressive, more and more.

OCOT’s bright career has started with his debut track “Innocence” that released from a Japanese label “Horizon”. It was supported by Tiësto, Paul van Dyk and Solarstone. In 2007, OCOT released his mini album “Reach into the Light” on vinyl, and it reached 1st place on CISCO trance chart, one of the major dance-music shops in Japan. On the side, he does live performances at Japanese clubs. OCOT’s live shows blow our minds and creates one and only euphoric soundscape.

From 2011, OCOT have been working with Otographic Music label. In the compilation “Hiroyuki ODA – Thirty (Remixes)”, OCOT made the remix of “Amethyst” that appeared at the top place on Beatport, iTunes Store, and Amazon MP3 Japan.

Sha-A, a truly individualistic artist using two aliases “TRI-Force” and “OCOT”, see steady progress across a wide range of area. His unique way of seeing the world will broaden the future.
