Needles and Pins circa 77.78 at the crest of the punk movement Page Porazzo and his younger brother Dino raised in Burbank Calif hooked up with Denny Ward this was her first effort as a lead vocal Dino on drums Page on piano Larry Whitman on guitar as well as Steve Hufster ( formerly with The Quick who later became Great Biuldings) on Don't You Worry with Denny Lane on Base. Page tried to really give Don't You Worry a real Phil Spector wall of sound (I know I'm leaving some of the players out so by all means take credit ) They played in Hollywood at the Masques to a enthusastic crowd went on to perform at the Thoubadour at a later date. Page's influnces were extremly vast but of course Spector, Jonathon Richman and the Modern Lovers, lots of 60's groups like Nazz,The Zombies. Beatles. The Balloon Farm, The Searchers hince the name.
