Biography
Moontown are a music group formed in Dorchester, Dorset, England in 2003. Their music is hard to place in any one genre other than highly commercial. The sound is predominantly Flip-Hop although spans the genres of Trip-Hop, Pop, Soul, Dance and Chill. It brings together elements of Classical, Rock, and Drum and Bass to produce a contemporary Popular Music sound.
Their songs are always original compositions which is over 40 and growing. The grounp is formed up of Toby Kilburn, the composer, arranger, key-board player and co-producer. Emma Friendship provides the vocals and lyricss. Whilst Giles Watts provides Bass and Electric guitar.. Recordings and live performances include session musicians for guitar, bass and cello.
