There are several artists known as Monsieur Z
1.) Youtuber who makes videos pertaining to Historical and Political topics, detractors and trolls may often say he lets the mask slip in his videos when talking about certain subjects, but he is only providing opinions and factual evidence.
2.)A mix of electro, raggamuffin and hardcore, Monsieur Z’s music is political as well as poetic, in between a caress and a punch, a kiss and a slap.
Winner of the “Musiques en Ligne” 2003 online contest, Monsieur Z writes the first album in 2004 and display their rage on stage in the first series of regional concerts.
The 100% self produced D1g1tal Eq album is released in May 2005 and is supported by Adami. This first release is praised by the media and allows this “sound jeweller” to affirm himself as a DIY expert.
The Monsieur Z four-piece develops a fantastic energy on stage. In the summer of 2005, Monsieur Z plays in various festivals such as the renowned “Eurockéennes” (where they obtain the prize for best newcomer), “Chalon Dans La Rue” and “Le Chien A Plumes”. In sum, thanks to the release of the album, Monsieur Z tours France and abroad on many gigs and feature with bands such as Hightone, La Phaze…
In June 2006, Monsieur Z records “Propagande de l'hybride », their new album. They choose to record it in the Pôle Nord studio with Fred Norguet who has also recorded bands such as Ez3kiel, Sidilarsen, Lofofora…
The release is planned for beginning of 2007…
