Momend was a Latvian alternative rock band that formed in 2009 in Rīga, Latvia.
Since forming their band, the band have advanced their style, creating a more nuanced, dynamic and lyrical sound. In the spring of 2011, Momend won several awards as the best emerging artists, which enabled them to perform in several Latvian and international music festivals.
Their debut album, Episodes of Trust, was recorded in 2012, followed by their second album Spirals in 2014. Both of them released with the renowned Latvian indie label I Love You Records.
The band split up in 2016.
