Mojo Hands www.mojohands.dk is one of the last few decades of the most original and successful Danish blues-rock bands. Since its inception in 1995, the band stood out strongly with 3 albums that have given more attention than you normally are accustomed to on our latitudes when playing a music like no such thing is to be found on the charts! – Also happy blues lovers in the large abroad have taken enthusiastically against Mojo Hands, who still leads their way with the same virtues as previously, energy, charisma and good taste…………..
Mojo Hands has for some years with comparatively low cigarette on the market, in earnest got lit up in the cigar! Not least because of the band's new singer ZENIA LABIB, whose role as lead singer of the band will be established at the latest cd from 2013 "Voodoo You Love", where Zenia for real shows that only can and will sing Rhythm'n'Blues.
HENRIK HANSEN is still to be found in front of the band, with his charming vocals and sublime mundharpe games, still makes him one of the leading mundharpe players in Scandinavia (quote: Peter Widmer). Henrik has over the years next to the Mojo Hands, been one of the most widely used mundharpe players for Studio work at home and have a cubit long reference list, which, among other things. count Johnny M Band, Backseat and Poul Krebs!
The guitar is handled today by esbjergensiske JAN MALLET, who has a past in Stråps Blues band and which have just been about Shaky Ground in their collaboration with Michelle birkballe. Jan has also written some film music and has received excellent reviews for his acoustic guitar work in the Scottish film "Last Clockwork Train Two Bleechwood".
The drums are played by ERIC LACROIX, who has been featured in Mojo Hands almost since its inception. Erik has in his musical career spent some time together with Henning strong as he played with in 10 years, but also has put ' beats ' behind people like Link Wray, Shaky Ground, Poul Krebs, Rock Nalle, Peter Belli, Seth Walker, Søren Shoes, Dan Baird, Ester Brohus, Michelle b, Johnny Sansone and others.
On the bass, there has over the years been the largest replacement, but in the last 3 years it has been LARS THOMSEN, who has turned the bass. Lars has a past in the Club, like Jan talented Stråps blues band and like the other band, he has a great passion and love for blues music in all its forms.
