Modhan’s music is boldly infectious. With a sound born from a synthesis of jazz, folk, rock and funk, Modhan mould fresh grooves and sophisticated melodies while upholding a respect for their Scottish roots. The result is a contemporary sound, upbeat and refreshingly original.
2012 sees the release of Modhan’s highly anticipated second album. Funded by Creative Scotland, ‘The Admiral’s Fireworks’ showcases the band’s stylish compositions and charts the next phase of their continued musical explorations. With a live show renowned for its taut ensemble and high energy, Modhan will captivate audiences of all backgrounds as they tour the record through the year.
