Biography
modalities is a new collective consisting of Alias Error and Oscar Atanga. Setting themselves apart from the dominant club scenes in their current hometown of Berlin, the duo offer sound curation through hybrid DJ sets, live performance, music direction and bespoke composition with a focus on downtempo, ambient and experimental music. After individually exploring the intersections between music, contemporary art, film and fashion over the past few years, the two artists, who also share a close friendship, joined forces to focus on music and sound design.
