Born and raised in The Bronx, Michael Kidd Gomez a.k.a. MKG started his career in dance music at 16 years old. His first production was this Freestyle club classic "Tears Shed" featuring the vocals of Emery. I read somewhere that this song was recorded in someone's bathroom subsituting as a studio. Actually that was common in the days of Freestyle. Many artist recorded their song's in people's basement, bathroom's or closet (ghetto)….It's One of the reasons why I love this music so much lol. Released on Dance City Records out of The Bronx, way back in 1988.
