Misztrál band was formed in 1997. They are dedicated to singing poems of Hungarian and other regional poets. They use traditional folk motifs in their music. Misztral employs classical acoustic and electronic instrumentation. Their music crosses a vast array of styles and spans time from the Medieval period to today. It is both rustic and current, making them popular among folk music fans, classical music and world music fans.
