Mike Ratledge (born Michael Roland Ratledge in Maidstone on 6 May 1943; died 5 February 2025) was a British musician remembered for being part of the "Canterbury" scene and a co-founder, and long-time member, of Soft Machine. As a child, Ratledge was educated in classical music, the only kind of music played in his parents' home.
