Biography

Swedish melodic-punk band.
Formed in Malmö (Möllevången) Sweden in 1993 by Kåre and Ante - a bassplayer and a drummer. Fredde (Rea Respirator, Palimpsest) joined on the guitar later that year -and the bands first name was View. They started playing their own songs and a few covers. All in the style of melodic punk /Fun-punk. Kåre was singing. Had some gigs, made some demos. Ante quit to join Astream and the drummers Lappen ()Two Sheds, Lasse, Kalle and Hasse followed and Jörgen joined to play the bass, and left Kåre some room to make some moves live. Made a demo, had some gigs, made it to some compilations, and got the "sell me your smile" MCD released on Fetvadd Records 1997. In 1998 Micro Midas released a 7" split with the norwegian band Tadpole. After a few more gigs, Kåre said "enough", and the band cancelled a gig, and the rest of the band said enough is enough too.
Leaving a huge hole in the ground where there used to be a band called Micro Midas -a band that was really popular wherever they played live and in magazines/fanzines, but never got much attention otherwise.

Ante later played for Down To Fail and Birds On Clouds.
Freddes is now (2020) playing guitar for Malsten
