Michael Zager (born 3 January 1943, Passaic, New Jersey) has produced, composed, and/or arranged original music in a wide range of musical idioms, including commercials, albums, network television, and as a source for theme music for films.

Zager has produced Grammy Award winning artists: Whitney Houston, Cissy Houston, Gladys Knight, Peabo Bryson, Luther Vandross, Deniece Williams, Jennifer Holliday, Joe Williams, Arturo Sandoval, Herb Alpert, Olatunji, and The Spinners. He also co-wrote the Patti Day hit "Right Before My Eyes" with Alexander Forbes. Some of Zager’s original scores and original studio recordings of Whitney Houston, The Spinners, and the Michael Zager Band, reside in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio.

Zager was a member of Ten Wheel Drive from 1968-1973.
