It was the fifth and last number one hit from the album on the Billboard Hot 100, and featured a hard rock sound similar to that of Beat It from Jackson's 'Thriller' album. The song features Steve Stevens on guitar. There was much speculation surrounding who the track was about. Jackson later said himself the song is about groupies.
