Meero was formed in Savannah, Georgia in 2003 by Corbin Parker and Riley Nesbit. They wrote several tunes and recorded an EP called, The Below "C" EP, because the violinist, Wade Herring, was not abled to attend the recording of several of the songs due to low grades. The band also featured Chad Troughton on drums and Haley Reese on bass. The band parted ways for a while after a squabble between Chad and Riley.
