Biography
Mean Wind hails from Halifax, Nova Scotia. The self-described experimental/folk/nobody/nowhere pop suit dropped their first releases on bandcamp circa September 2010. Their music can be likened to a confluence of Animal Collective circa-Sung Tongs canticles, clean n' clear jangly guitar riffing, and casual but clever tempo changes amidst the familiar, woozy haze of well-crafted psych folk. Little is known to date about Mean Wind due to the perhaps intentional ambiguity of their bandcamp and overtly simplistic myspace.
