Biography
Dag Mattis Kleppen (b. 1968) is a norwegian jazz and blues bass-guitarist and double-bass player. He has his roots in the jazz-education in Trondheim, Norway and incorporates elements of norwegian traditional music, african and american folk music in a unique blend. Projects he has been involved with includes Cucumber, Live Maria Roggen, African Pepperbirds, Bengalo, Solo Cissokho, Piper on the Roof, Transjoik and Dr Bekken trio.
With the project Resjemheia, he has in recent years also collaborated with drummer Kenneth Kapstad (Motorpsycho, Monolithic, Gåte) and vocalist Ingrid Helene Håvik (Highasakite, Your Headlights Are On).
