Biography
Pioneers of US black metal, Masochist operated between 1992 and 1995 and released four demos and one EP of unforgiving, brutal black metal noise. Band members were also involved in fellow hellish noisemakers Summon and Wind Of The Black Mountains. Disbanded in 1995. A Tribute show was played with Nybras (drums), Wind of the Black Mountains and Nunrapist (guitar) shortly after the death of Tchort, but the band did not officially reform and is no longer active.

Not to be confused with Progressive Thrash Metal band Masochist from Woodburn/Harlan, Indiana and Death Metal band Masochist from Corona, California.
