Marka (born Serge Van Laeken in Brussels, Belgium in 1961), married to popular Belgian comedian Laurence Bibot.
Started in 1978 in a local punk band named "The Profiles" before joining "Allez-Allez" in 1981 then "Les Cactus" in 1983.
His first solo album "Je vous dis tout" is signed under PIAS (Play It Again Sam) label in 1992.
3 new albums will follow under Columbia France in 1995 (Merci d'avance), 1996 (L'Idiomatic)) & a live album in 1998 (L'Homme qui aimait la scéne).
In 1999 he wrote and play on stage with Laurence Bibot in a theatrical-rock-comedy "A Nous Deux".
3 more albums came out between 2001 & 2005 between live performance from Asia through his native country.
A new theatrical-rock-comedy (Monsieur et Madame) was performed in 2007 with his partner in life Laurence Bibot.
