Biography
Highly inspired by European film soundtracks from the 1960s and 1970s as well as experimental electronic music in general, Marcellus Lewis is also behind the solo project Microholiday and is one-half of the duo Colortone Library (an Atlanta/Denver collaboration). Originally from Atlanta, GA, he has been residing in Denver, CO off and on for the past 12+ years. From 2008-2010 he relocated to Prague, CZ, where he published music for film and television and released an album under the project name Microholiday. His music has found an audience particularly in Europe and has been featured on several Czech television stations and on Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. Lewis’s songs have also achieved radio airplay in Ireland, South Korea, and on various college stations in the US. His most recent release, the LP entitled Intentions of a Haunting, is the first release under his own name.
