Manabendra Mukherjee is one of the most successful singer in Bengali Music Industry. His songs are always unique with lots of introduction of Ragas and Taans. In recent era of “Remix” Bengali Songs, almost none tried to reproduce his songs simply because they are very hard to reproduce. Only Manabendra Had such a great latent of singing those songs. He worked as Music Directors in numerous Bengali Films and also lend his voice to almost all leading actors of his time including Uttam Kumar, Soumitra Chaterrjee and many more. Below is a list of popular Nazrulgeeti by Manabendra Mukherjee. He introduced his own style in those songs and the songs evolved into something very different than just “Nazrulgeeti”. Those songs are often called “Manabgeeti” instead of Nazrugeeti.
