Biography
Magic Foot hails from Western Massachusetts, where they were immersed in the folk music scene that eventually produced Kit Wallach (Wolf Deer Woolf, The Popsicles, Gracious Calamity), Rusty Belle, Pete Okie Weiss (Okie Weiss and the Murder Ballads), and immense numbers of other musicians. They can be heard playing contra and folk dances up and down the East coast, even though fiddler, vocalist, concertina maker and geologist Colin Lindsay is now based in Colorado. This is a band that plays traditional Irish ditties as they were meant to be heard, and they're damn good.
