Mad Margritt is a hard rock group known for playing in a sound reminiscent of 80s arena rock and glam metal groups. Their debut album, titled 'Cold Sweat', came out in October 1997. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, the band has toured extensively opening for acts such as Kiss, Poison, Whitesnake, Skid Row, Quiet Riot, and many other bands from related genres.
Their current lineup is: Eddie Smith - Lead Vocals, Chad Wedlake - Drums, Scott Banks - Guitars, and Skip Mullis - Bass.
The band's current release is entitled "Animal". The cd was released September 25, 2007 on Perris Records and is being distributed in the USA by Select-O-Hits, The UK by Plastic Head Music, Italy by Andromeda, Greece by Soundforge Music Group, Spain by Border, The Netherlands by Bertus, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium by ZYX Music.
