In a genre where it is way too easy to be generic, every so often you come across a band that can redefine what that genre is doing. Enter: The Madbutchers. Hailing from Grand Rapids and helping to rule the mid to late 90's ska scene in Michigan, this band combined catchy hooks, great horn lines and and an awesome vocal attack that made them one of the best acts to watch in their time. Known for their energetic live show, this band frequently shared the stage with bands such as The Toasters and Mustard Plug and toured relentlessly. Just like alot of great bands, they definately broke up before their time.
