This was their last good album. This one and The Blackening really solidified their own sound in a coherent manner. After this, it seemed like they just threw shit at the wall and tried to be both radio friendly and heavy at the same time, and it just doesn't work

I like Bloodstone & Diamonds, it just took me a few listens, always liked the first half of the album tho, but the rest grew on me too.

Bloodstone is great, just a bit too long to listen to it constantly. Kingdom was also good, so I hope for the new album to be great 🤘🏻

Half great, half mediocre. I really like the first three tracks but then it's not much else of interest to me. "Darkness Within" makes me cringe a lot, really don't like that one.

This album is almost as good as The Blackening. Excellent musicianship, great ratio of rad-to-bad songs. Amazing production sound. Righteous jams.

Idiots-Rule
I don't really like "Darkness Within" that much, it reminds me of some kind of music I don't like, but I can't my finger on what it is. Other than that it's a solid album, although not their strongest effort.

Very weak album. In fact, I'm not a Machine Head fan (more for the contrary...), but I really found this a lot overrated.
