Mabon refers to at least two artists:
1) Mabon was a Celtic music band based in South Wales re-launched in 2011 as Jamie Smith's Mabon.
2) Mabon is a thrash metal band from Switzerland.
1) Mabon was a four-piece Celtic music band formed in 2000 and based in South Wales. The band was re-launched in 2011 as Jamie Smith's Mabon, see www.jamiesmithsmabon.com
The line-up comprises vocals, accordion, fiddle (Oli Wilson-Dickson – Newfolks, Szapora!), bouzouki, bass and drums. The band released OK Pewter in 2007 that earned the group appearances at top folk festivals including Cambridge and Sidmouth. Their album, "Live at the Grand Pavilion", was released in 2010 to widespread critical acclaim, including a Spiral Award 2010 for Best Instrumental Album.
2) Mabon is a thrash metal band from Switzerland. Their first release as Eye for an Eye (EP, 2006).
