Biography
Mâäk’s Spirit is a Belgofrench avant-garde collective made up of musicians and a lighting artist who work on improvisation, from a perspective combining fundamental building blocks such as form, duration, interaction, texture, dynamics, pulsation, silence, contrast, constraint, feeling, friction…but also through the possible negation of one or all of these elements.
The group consists of 6 members: Laurent Blondiau (trumpet), Sébastien Boisseau (bass), Jean-Yves Evrard (guitar), Jean Chevalier (drums), Guillaume Orti (saxophone) and Sam Mary (lights).
