“New Drank” is LUCKI’s ode to lean—a drug mix of codeine or promethazine with a soft drink—where he raps about his relationship problems that can be attributed to his drug abuse, additionally touching on his successes.
The song would release on October 12, 2021, with a LONEWOLF-directed music video featuring LUCKI in the studio, though it wouldn’t be until March 31, 2022, that “New Drank” would hit streaming services.
In a September 2022 interview with Our Generation Music, LUCKI would claim the laid-back track as his “favorite song ever” due to him manifesting the song’s lyrics into reality.
