LoveLust's heady blend of fuzzed-up shoegaze guitars, dirty sweet psychedelia, white noise and dark drone is influenced by space travel, psychedelia, narcotics, sex, shoegaze, heaven & hell, religion, love and death.
Hailing from Newcastle-under-Lyme (near Stoke-on-Trent), England, LoveLust are James Wright (vocals, synths), Andrew Wright (lead guitar, synths, grooves, feedback, drones), Matthew Kerr (bass, car crash music), Si Flanegan (guitars, feedback, phasers, sweet gorgeously filthy sounds), Al Garner (drums) and Pat Rogerson (percussion, synths, other grooves).
Musical influences: The Jesus and Mary Chain, Spacemen 3, Spiritualized, My Bloody Valentine, Gram Parsons, Primal Scream, Suicide, The Velvet Underground, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Slowdive.
