Started playing the flute at seventeen and ended up studying both jazz as well as classical/ contemporary music at the Amsterdam 'School of Arts', received private tuition in the US. Study of Indian Bansuri flute/music at Codarts. Released 15 CD's as a leader/co-leader at German, French, Dutch, Turkisch and US labels. Worked/recorded with musicians from all over the globe.
