This song is a tribute to one of Logic’s inspirations, A Tribe Called Quest, whose third album is titled "Midnight Mauraders". Logic’s intro and outro on this track are samples from this album.
The second part of the track is produced by Logic himself and samples the 1974 jazz song “Humbling love” by John Klemmer.
