Biography
Little Horses, the name of a short-lived high school folk band, was acquired by singer-songwriter Megan Mitchell as her current solo project. Little Horses now actively explores low-fi recording techniques, with the tendency to impersonate various instruments (especially the clarinet and trumpet).
Influences are wide-ranging, but are mainly drawn from modern folk and the freak folk genre, including artists such as Neko Case, Jenny Lewis, Grizzly Bear, Radiohead, My Brightest Diamond and Andrew Bird.
