Biography
Lindbergh Skies was a post-hardcore/alternative rock band from San Diego, California, United States. A blend of heavy melodic guitar riffs, catchy synth leads, funky bass lines, energetic drums, and soulful vocal ideas layered with a stack of harmonies.
Emerging out of the ashes of the former San Diego-based bands, Forming in the late November 2008, Lindbergh Skies was formulated by best friends and Jeff Davis - Vocals and Tommy Rucker - Guitar. After acquiring local talents (Stevie LaBella - Drums) and out of state exports (Brian Livingston - Bass), this 4-piece quickly set to work on creating their niche: dance chords, R&B; 'infused vocals, and vein-coursing lyrics, all carefully molded to take dance pop rock into a mode heavier than your DDR game ever conspired.
After a lineup change, Lindbergh Skies procured the talents of Barstow, California imports Atticus Gonzales (Lead Guitar) and Jake Rios (Rhythm Guitar). A few breakdowns and screams later, they are playing with such heavyweights as Story of the Year, Escape the Fate, I: Alive, Lorene Drive, and even more hometown heroes. In July 2009, Lindbergh Skies is heading into the studio to record their debut EP "Clear The Runway" with Producer Brian Grider of SCM recordings (Silent Armada, Flight to Athena, Lower Definition).
