Levelhead was a 4-man group from Albany, NY, blending Rock, Funk, Punk, Drum n’ Bass, Dub, Jazz into a powerful style of music. Formed in 2000 by Anthony Deso (Drums) and Dain Fiacco(Guitar), they had other band members before they took on Jesse Downing (Bass) and Dan Marshall (Vocals) in 2003. They played mostly in the Albany area, opening for bands including Lo-Pro and Lennon, but also ventured to areas of New England, and a short trip to Atlanta to play with Shootyz Groove.
A 3-song demo released in 2003 included "Indecision", "Second Chance Goodbyes", and "Override". While working on a full length album, the band decided to part ways in 2005.
Thier music can still be heard on purevolume.com/levelhead, where "Indecision" is uploaded, as well as a song from their would-be cd called "Lost In Translation."
