Leander Kills is a Hungarian metal band formed by Leander Köteles, the guitarist and vocalist known for his work with Leander Rising. The band features Miklós Czifra (of Balkan Fanatik and Amigod) and András Vermes on guitars, along with Valentin Jankai (from Blind Myself) on drums.

Their debut single, Szerelmetlen dal, was released on November 2, 2015, followed by Te leszel a párom and Valami folyjon. Their first album, Túlélő, dropped on March 18, 2016.

In 2017, Máté Bodor, due to commitments with Alestorm, couldn’t tour with Leander Kills, leading to András Vermes joining the band. Köteles expressed that Bodor would remain an honorary member, potentially contributing to future recordings and performances if his schedule permits.

Leander Kills has competed in A Dal, Hungary’s Eurovision Song Contest selection, three times. In 2017, they reached the finals with Élet, followed by another final appearance in 2018 with Nem szól harang. Their 2019 entry, Hazavágyom, did not advance past the heats.
